About Your PCAT Instructor…

Dear Fellow Officers,

Welcome to Promotional Coaching and Training (PCAT), where officers learn to achieve top promotional scores, ace interviews, master knowledge-based promotional processes, and sharpen their leadership abilities. PCAT provides personalized coaching, practical study strategies, and hands-on tactical training designed to prepare officers to perform at the highest level, both on promotional exams and on the street. As your instructor, I guide officers toward career advancement while helping them become smarter, more confident, and more capable law enforcement professionals.

With over two decades of law enforcement experience, I have served in progressive leadership roles from Officer to Captain, gaining extensive experience across patrol operations, internal affairs, K-9 supervision, field training coordination, emergency management, and organizational modernization. I currently serve in an executive command role overseeing professional standards, traffic safety, and community policing functions, while also acting as an Office of Emergency Management Coordinator responsible for large scale events and disaster response. I am FEMA Professional Development Series certified and a graduate of the New Jersey Chiefs of Police Command and Leadership Academy.

I am a certified instructor at the Ocean County Police Academy, specializing in Arrest, Search and Seizure, Advanced Patrol Techniques, and Physical Fitness. I am also responsible for my department’s legal update training and defensive tactics instruction, leading sessions in the classroom and demonstrating defensive tactics in live, hands-on training scenarios. I have achieved top scores on every promotional exam I have taken, including earning the number one position on the Police Captain’s exam and a perfect score on the Captain’s oral board. PCAT was built from this experience and focuses on coaching officers through proven preparation methods, custom study materials, and practical leadership training. PCAT is more than exam preparation. It is a supportive learning environment focused on accountability, professionalism, and producing capable leaders who positively impact their agencies and communities.
