Promotional Coaching and Training (PCAT) was built to help officers achieve top promotional scores, master knowledge-based promotional processes, and develop the leadership skills necessary to succeed as police supervisors.

With more than two decades of law enforcement experience, the instructor behind PCAT has served in progressive leadership roles from Officer to Captain, gaining extensive experience in patrol operations, internal affairs, K-9 supervision, field training coordination, emergency management, and organizational leadership.

He currently serves in an executive command role overseeing professional standards, traffic safety, and community policing initiatives while also acting as an Office of Emergency Management Coordinator responsible for large-scale events and disaster response. He is FEMA Professional Development Series certified and a graduate of the New Jersey Chiefs of Police Command and Leadership Academy.

As a certified instructor at the Ocean County Police Academy, he teaches Arrest, Search and Seizure, Advanced Patrol Techniques, and Physical Fitness, while also providing legal update and defensive tactics instruction within his department. He has achieved top scores on every promotional exam he has taken, including earning the #1 position on the Police Captain’s promotional exam and a perfect score on the Captain’s oral board.
