Experience Built Into the Program

Promotional Coaching and Training was built to help officers understand the material they will be tested on, achieve top promotional scores and develop the judgment necessary to succeed as police supervisors and leaders.

The program comes from a career spanning progressive leadership roles from Officer through Captain, direct experience with three successful promotional examinations and responsibility across patrol, internal affairs, K-9 supervision, field training, professional standards, traffic safety, community policing and emergency management.

That experience is used to build PCAT’s original course materials, presentations, weekly study plans, audio reviews, Student Academy resources, Exam Center questions and coaching methods. Each part of the program was created to solve a real problem officers face during promotional preparation.

Everything learned through studying, testing, promotion, instruction and leadership is built into PCAT. Students receive more than information. They receive direction, accountability and a complete preparation system.
